A. We will send you a picture of four different boards for you to choose the one that you fall in love with!

Q. Is my cutting board dishwasher safe?

A. It is not recommended to put any wood cutting boards in the dishwasher.

 

Q. How do I wash my cutting board?

A. Hand wash in warm soapy water and wipe dry with a soft cloth or towel.

 

Q. Should I oil my board?

A. You can apply vegetable oil or mineral oil or cutting board oil to your board. Avoid wiping on the resin handle part. If you get oil on the resin just buff off.

 

Q. Is the cutting board heat safe to use as a hot plate?

A. We do not recommend placing hot items out of the oven or microwave on the cutting board. Pots of tea or coffee are fine.

 

Q. Is the cutting board and resin food safe?

A. Both the maple wood and the resin are food safe.

 

Q. What if I get leave a glass on it and it leaves a ring?

A. All wood will stain with a white ring if a wet glass is left on it for a period of time. There are several ways to rid the wood of a water mark. Some suggestions include:

  • – wipe with mayonnaise, buff dry
  • – wipe with a mixture of oil and vinegar, wipe clean
  • – mix a paste of 1 Tbsp baking soda and 1 tsp water, rub in circular motion
  • – Apply petroleum jelly and leave overnight, wipe off in morning
  • – (Always wipe with the grain of the wood)

 

Q. Is the board microwave safe?

A. We do not recommend putting your product in the microwave as that use has not been tested.

 

Q. What are some of the uses of the cheeseboards?

A. We love to use our cheeseboards for serving tea, preparing a charcuterie platter, displaying scones and cookies, using as a decorative item hanging in your kitchen, serving cheese and crackers, serving brushetta, using as a centerpiece with a cute succulent and candle on it.
